Voor iedereen die van katten houdt. Deze bende van 8 Japanse katjes is uit op kattenkwaad. Noriko Kudoh laat ons lachen om die katten, maar ze neemt ons ook mee naar Japan. In dit geval naar die typisch Japanse broodjes, en iedereen die in Japan is geweest, herkent het meteen: in de vorm van een bril, schildpad of meloen, en de sando met slagroom en aardbei. 

Terug naar de 8 katten van de kattenkwaad bende. Overal waar ze komen maken ze kattenkwaad. Bij de Broodfabriek ruiken ze een onweerstaanbare geur van zoete broodjes uit de bakkerij. Die zouden zij ook wel lusten! Wanneer de nacht valt, sluipen ze naar binnen om zelf brood te bakken.

Maar dan… BOOEEM! Het dorp wordt opgeschrikt door een harde knal. Op de plek van de bakkerij staat nu een gigantisch brood. Wie roept deze stoute katten tot de orde?

English Description:
Noriko's serie on 8 Japanese cats on mischievous missions makes us both laugh and sends us back to Japan. Especially in this Sandwich Shop, with melon pans, brioches in turtoise shapes and sando's with cream and strawberries. A cute series of books, which put laughter on both you and the kids. As with most picture books, it is easily translated from Dutch to any other language: the pictures speak for themselves.
