The Sailor Dipton Bottled Ink Sheen - Ripe Fig is a water-based dye ink, featuring a deep fig base color that sparkles with a contrasting green shimmer wherever the ink pools. The ink is formulated specifically for dip pens and is not suitable for use with fountain pens. Perfect for calligraphy, journaling or creative illustration.

The origin of Sailor's Dipton inks comes from the combination of “dip” + “ton” — an onomatopoeia for the tapping sound made when pressing the nib against the edge of the bottle to drip off excess ink, bringing a playful nod to the craft.

At Misc Store we also carry the Dipton Bottled Ink Sheen in Blue Flame and Dark Cave.
