MD PRODUCT—formerly known as MD PAPER PRODUCTS by Midori—was born in the 1960s and has evolved into an independent Japanese design brand, offering premium notebooks, diaries and planners, writing tools and desk essentials.

At the core of MD PRODUCT lies the MD Notebook range, offering four layout variations—blank, lined, grid, and dot grid—across five versatile sizes: A7, A6, B6 Slim, A5, and A4. A long-awaited expansion to the collection is the dot grid layout, now available in all sizes after previously being exclusive to A5.

What makes MD Notebook special?
Their signature smooth MD Paper— which they have been developing in-house for decades—is used throughout each notebook, including the inner pages, endpapers and the covers. This high-quality paper is engineered for smooth ink flow, and resists bleed-through and feathering, making it especially suitable for fountain pen users. The notebooks feature exposed thread-stitched binding that allows each page to open a full 180 degrees, creating an entirely flat writing surface. A coloured bookmark string is attached to each notebook to signify the type of layout. 

Beyond notebooks, MD PRODUCT produces a refined range of desk essentials—including writing tools, protective covers for MD Notebook, and an annually released range of dated planners and calendars.
