About 2025 Diaries: Staff Picks

At Misc Store we know how hard it can be to find the diary that fits all your planning needs, so we asked our staff to share their diary picks for 2025. Finding and achieving the right system is an entirely personal endeavour, but we hope you'll be able to pick up some inspiration among our staff's selection.

Whether you are looking to log your life or plan ahead, we have a multitude of diaries and calendars online and in our shop in Amsterdam, so please feel free to stop by and find that perfect match.

Lydia
"A recent purchase from me was the Nähe 2025 Monthly Diary Square — I thought it was great to be able to pop in my handbag and use!"

Katrien
"When I became a parent last year, my partner and I decided on using synced calendars on our phones and my paper planner all of a sudden stayed empty. This year, I decided on keeping a small journal in the Hightide 2025 Les Agendas de L'Année A6 and now I'm deciding to upgrade my journal to a 1 day 1 page — a small one, so it's a small step up. The 2025 MD Notebook Diary 1 Day 1 Page A6 will be perfect for this. Also, I can't go through life without an actual paper planner so I'll settle for the Nähe 2025 Monthly Diary Square to keep in my handbag every day!"

Tamara
"My diary pick for this year is the Hightide 2025 Shine Monthly Diary B6 Slim, which will be solely used for work. It's fun, has silky smooth paper and features the perfect format to have on my desk and glance over schedules and events, as well as tracking to do’s.
When it comes to personal planning, I’ve finally come to the conclusion that my brain just isn’t wired for planning on paper. My brain goes a 100mph at all times and so does life, so I use Google Calendar for actual planning and additionally, I like to log things in my TRAVELER’S notebook. Using the Weekly Vertical Diary + 005. Free Diary Daily inserts, I jot down things I’ve done, seen or read and log any fun activities and important events that happened over the weeks. It helps me slow down and reflect, and simultaneously acts as a memory keeper."

Emma
"I am currently using the TRAVELER'S notebook Monthly Diary Passport Size for appointments, and the Weekly Diary Passport Size as a diary/memory keeping notebook. I try to write a little bit every day in the weekly one. Whenever there's an empty space in my monthly overview, I put a sticker on it.
Recently I also got the Hightide 2025 Les Agendas de L'Année A6, which I'm using at home as an open diary for appointments so my better half knows where I am and what I have planned. I also track which books I read in there and how long it takes me to finish them."

Ingrid
"Recently I bought Hightide’s 2025 Minute Manager A5. It gives me the opportunity to schedule the whole year on two pages for a perfect oversight. This is followed by a monthly planner and last but not least, the weekly planner. With the days of the week on the left for filling in appointments and workdays. On the right page there is enough space to write some memorable lines. And to top it all off it ends with enough lined pages for memo’s and notes. You’d think this one is really thick but no, it has a perfect size to fit in my bag!"

Morgane
"I will be using a combination of the 2025 MD Diary Sticker S with Stalogy's Masking Dots in my current MD Notebook B6 Slim. This combination allows me to color code and separate work at my atelier and at Misc from my family/leisure time. It helps me to get an overview of the month this way too. At home I will also hang the 2025 MD Wall Calendar Folded A3.

Dayanne
"My personal favorite diary among our collection is the Midori 2025 Professional Diary PRD Weekly Vertical Slim. The format is just perfect — there are so many details in it, yet the design is simple and intuitive to understand. You have monthly and weekly overviews, so it allows you to plan in detail. Each weekly spread is divided by time on vertical columns with some space for notes, which is very convenient if you like to plan full days. Plus, the classic Midori paper just feels amazing."

Nice to see you here,
but we'd love to meet
in person too

Misc Store supports
climate change solutions
& plants a tree for every order

Importing from countries as far as Japan & shipping worldwide has more of an impact than we would like.
That is why we plant a tree for every order + we plant an additional 2 trees each day.

Furthermore, we offset the individual carbon footprint of our staff, including travel per individual under 8,000 km by car or 2 short-haul return flights annually, by funding climate change solutions through Ecologi.

Investing in projects focused on carbon avoidance is not the same as simply buying carbon offset certificates, that is why we have chosen to work with Ecologi.
