Designed by Ilex Studio, the Avocado Vase Grass Green elongates your love of avocados long after eating one – save the seed, grow it and discover the extraordinary tree inside. Based on minimalist, pure and timeless design and functionality, the vase allows you to observe the avocado seed as it matures, giving an insight into the plants' first stages of life. The sinuously shaped vase magnifies the roots as they prosper; creating a perfect focal point to witness the plant as it develops.
Ilex Studio has refined the traditional method of growing; skipping the popular toothpick method. By utilising the opening of the vase to cradle the seed, the seed is kept it dry as it sprouts, while the shape of the vase allows the roots to flourish freely. A handbook is included, providing detailed steps, tips and advice, and the box features a QR-code for step by step instructions on how to grow your own avocado tree.
