The Kakimori Pen Rest Sakura Wood is crafted from Japanese Cherry. It enhances the moments in between between writing. It holds any pen without the need for precise placement, it blends effortlessly into your desk space with a subtle but assured presence.

The sweeping, asymmetrical design makes it easy to set down and pick up your pen, and can hold two or three slender pens. It has been engineered for stability to ensure your pen is secure from accidental movement or damage.

The Kakimori Pen Rest is treated with an ink-resistant finish, providing practicality without compromising the natural texture.

At Misc Store we carry the full range of Kakimori's Pigment Ink colors, along with their dip pens and colour liner kits.

Kakimori's notebooks, inks, pens and letter papers are made through craftsmanship and imbued with the hope of treasured, long-lasting ownership — brought to life within your own space and time.

Their home is one of Tokyo’s old shitamachi (downtown) neighbourhoods. Craftsmanship remains well and truly alive, with small manufacturing workshops and factories lining the streets. Work and daily life exist in close proximity and there is a strong sense of community. By taking the design, production and retail of products into their own hands, Kakimori aims to reconnect with local manufacturing, revitalise declining crafts and artisans, and restore circularity for the next generation.

At Misc-store Amsterdam we are proud to be stocking selected items from Kakimori's carefully crafted range of writing tools — to celebrate the joy of writing.
