In fall 2019 Traveler’s Company introduces their Travel Tools Collection, a limited one-off collection sold only at selected stores worldwide. The Travel Tools Letterpress Card Brown is part of this limited collection and we at Misc-store proudly stock it in Europe.
The Travel Tools Collection includes refills, a brass charm, masking tape, pen and also some letterpresses paper goodies. All are made in the vicinity of Tokyo.
This double card has been printed on the Heidelberg Letterpress machine in the Nagerayama Factory, in the outskirts of Tokyo. It includes a white liner and a kraft paper envelope.
Traveler’s Company have introduced many limited editions before, but these were not available at retailers outside of Japan or Asia. These Travel Tools are the first limited edition for Europe and US, so our stock is limited.
TRAVELER’S Company
During ISOT in 2006, the leading stationery show in Japan, Midori developed the idea of TRAVELER’S notebook. Ten years later marks its anniversary and the foundation of TRAVELER’S Company, a new umbrella brand next to Midori that holds everything we love and related to TRAVELER’S notebook. The product ranges BRASS, KRAFT, Spiral Ring Notebook and TRAVELER’S notebook are now part of TRAVELER’S Company.
TN & Misc-store
Misc-store is a fan of TRAVELER’S notebook from the start. As such we feel honored to have sold all the limited editions thus far. It was love at first sight with the Camel 5th Anniversary TRAVELER’S Notebook. Then we applauded the camel passport edition of the STAR Edition, featuring the Hong Kong Star Ferry. We were one of the selected few to carry both ARMY editions, in collaboration with vintage king Nigel Cabourn.
We are also really fortunate to have hosted the first-ever TRAVELER’S Factory Caravan in Europe in 2016, a tour of the TRAVELER’S notebook design team traveling to Amsterdam, London and Berlin.
