Following EU regulations, from July 1st 2021 online shops must charge customers the VAT % from their home country.
All prices are shown including 21% (NL VAT rate); if your country’s VAT rate different, the prices will change accordingly during checkout.
EXAMPLE
Postalco One Year Wall Calendar €20
- will be €19,67 for a customer from Germany, as the German VAT rate is 19%
- will be €20,67 for a customer from Denmark, as the Danish VAT rate is 25%
Prices are shown including 21% VAT. If you are shopping from outside the EU, VAT will automatically be deducted during checkout based on your shipping address.
PLEASE NOTE
- This only happens after your shipping address has been filled out.
- Do not use any of the Express Checkout buttons in the cart (Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay): this skips the checkout process & therefor the VAT cannot be deducted by the system.
- Import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
AJOTO is a small brand with great aspirations seeing the immersive amounts of details they have put into their product. For the first time in years we grew speechless when we first saw their product. It is so remarkable.
The thickness of leather, the fine embossed print on the leather, the use of the finest full grain vegetable tanned Italian leather, handmade into pen pouches in the UK, show how Ajoto is “making their mark’.
Every pouch is hand made in Manchester by a group of highly skilled craftspeople.
The colours and the natural oils in the leather will age with use and will create a natural luster.
Available in navy, chestnut and black.
Please note; AJOTO is using natural leather, so the colour may vary with the images.
About AJOTO

About AJOTO
AJOTO pens have weight in your hand – the front-loaded barrel glides forward, pulling ink and hand across the page. This is typical for AJOTO’s designers, Chris Holden and Tim Higgins: they design products finely tooled for human usage, that fit like a key into the writer’s life.
Misc. Store first met Holden in 2015, and quickly fell for the craftsmanship and the attention to provenance at AJOTO. It’s unusual to come across pen designers with such a modern attitude to design, and the values that Chris and Tim had in mind when they designed the AJOTO range – simplicity, longevity, elegance – reflect Misc. Store’s own.
Specifically local
Made from materials sourced entirely within the EU – Greek brass, Portuguese cork, Belgian aluminium, AJOTO creates their products with the help of a selection of English manufacturers. There are the leather workers in Leicestershire, the anodisers in Wycombe, the metal platers in Watford (the world’s finest, they promise). Their card stock is sourced from legendary Hull paper merchants G.F. Smith. Working with local suppliers helps to ensure a sustainable, ethical and high-quality product with a low carbon footprint. It gives their products the weight of place: a rarity in today’s world.
As of writing, Misc. Store is the sole stockist of AJOTO in the Netherlands. At Miscellaneous, we believe in bringing the finest pens and writing equipment to Amsterdam and the Netherlands. If you’d like to get a feel for one of these spun-metal beauties, visit our store in Amsterdam. We also ship internationally from our shop online.

Misc Store supports
climate change solutions &
plants a tree for every order
Importing from countries as far as Japan & shipping worldwide has more of an impact than we would like. That is why we plant a tree for every order + we plant an additional 2 trees each day.
Furthermore, we offset the individual carbon footprint of our staff, including travel per individual under 8,000 km by car or 2 short-haul return flights annually, by funding climate change solutions through Ecologi.
A selection of these climate projects are shown here.
