Made as an add-on for the Midori MD Notebook, the MD notebook Plastic Cover S was made by Midori in order to protect the cover, whilst at the same time cause minimum (visual) disruption with the tactile feel of paper.
The plastic cover has a penloop, so you can keep your favorite notebook + pen combo within reach.

The covers, available at Misc-store in plastic, paper and leather, are add-ons for the MD notebooks, to keep them as pristine as possible.

Midori MD Notebook
As a tribute to MD Notebooks characteristic binding method, the spine is only taped with a cheese cloth tape. This way, the eleven bundles with 16 pages each is exposed.
We think it’s a beautiful little detail to show how proud Midori is on its paper quality and binding method.

MD Paper is Midori’s pride when it comes to the art of making paper. Being a stationery manufacturer from the 1950’s, MD Paper can be described as part of their blueprint. Ever since Midori made MD Paper in the 1960’s, they have applied the Japanese ‘Kaizen’ principle, meaning they are continuously looking for ways to improve its quality. The result is paper that will not stain, or bleed and is fantastic to write on, especially with a fountain pen.
At misc-store we are very fond of the paper, and it is one of our staples in our Amsterdam store. We love to see the range expand over the years.
