All of le typographe's products are made in their atelier in the Elsene area of Brussels. The cards is a double A6 card with rounded corners and have a blanc interior. The envelope is is first cut on the Heidelberg press, and then folded and glued by hand. le typographe uses 300 grams paper stock for their A6 cards and envelopes, which makes every message count more. Le typographe is a printing shop in Brussels, favouring the technique of printing with movable type lead and wood. All products are printed on their 5 Heidelberg presses typo and assembled by hand, using traditional methods in their workshop. Their view on paper and paper products is mesmerizing and justifies a visit to Brussels anytime. And whilst we do not advertise for other shops, we gladly make an exception for theirs… the shop is designed by Cedric and every corner, nook, and spot on the floor features nice details and inspiring retail design ideas.

At Misc-store le typographe is one of the first brands we started to carry before we even opened our brick and mortar store. Every season we had our new favorites, and still, their mega blocs are our le typographe evergreens.
Following EU regulations, from July 1st 2021 online shops must charge customers the VAT % from their home country.
All prices are shown including 21% (NL VAT rate); if your country’s VAT rate different, the prices will change accordingly during checkout.

Using five Heidelberg printers in their Brussels studio in Belgium to produce their letterpressed stationery, le typographe is a not only a love brand, it's a love company. From design to production, each item is fully printed in typography and handmade in an artisanal way.
Cédric Chauvelot and his team make everything by hand, from notebooks to notepads and envelopes to greeting cards: All is perfected in detail. All authentic craft and love here, nothing more and nothing less. Our studio visits remembers us on how much steps are involved in to the production process, and of their craft of their brand.
