PLEASE NOTE:
- This only happens after your shipping address has been filled out.
Do not use any of the Express Checkout buttons in the cart (Paypal, Apple Pay or Shop Pay): this skips the checkout process & therefor the VAT cannot be deducted by the system.

Els & Nel

Els & Nel stands for problem-solving design and a vision that is characterized by simplicity and usability. We love their pay-off of "Keeping it Neat". The two ladies behind Els & Nel (no not their real names) are Aleks Pietrzykowska and Kim de Haas and they designed their first planner back in 2012. It's a planner exactly designed as they wanted to use it. Since 2021 Kim is keeping it neat and plans on more formats.

Their view on planning focuses on the cross-over between work and pleasure in our daily lives. Being in the creative sector, the flexible conditions demand a flexible mind set, adaptable from multiple projects to a sudden change of plans. Being more organized about work means more flexibility for play.

About Els & Nel

Els & Nel at Misc-store Amsterdam

Els & Nel started in the midst of the digitalisation. Where not just the office became more and more digital also in the private sphere people increasingly choose the computer and telephone over paper. Yet Els & Nel felt the need for paper goods; well designed, quality bound stationary. For them paper goods where and still are essential objects in their daily life.

In 2012 the Weekly Journal was born and apparently not only Els & Nel had a desire for paper goods, it was a hit! This urge to look at what used to be a product easily taken for granted, like a journal, and redesign it to a paper product that is an addition to the everyday life in the 21st century was and still is the driving force behind the products designed by Els & Nel.

We’re happy to carry Els & Nel and present it to our customers in the Netherlands and internationally via our shop online.

Nice to see you here,
but we'd love to meet
in person too

Misc Store supports
climate change solutions &
plants a tree for every order

Importing from countries as far as Japan & shipping worldwide has more of an impact than we would like. That is why we plant a tree for every order + we plant an additional 2 trees each day.

Furthermore, we offset the individual carbon footprint of our staff, including travel per individual under 8,000 km by car or 2 short-haul return flights annually, by funding climate change solutions through Ecologi.
A selection of these climate projects are shown here.
