What can faces be? Tap into this curiosity with Kokuyo's Make Faces, featuring 52 images of everyday and unexpected objects, providing the perfect canvases to create funny, quirky and completely original faces. Simply add eyes, noses, mouths, ears, hair, and more from 6 vinyl sticker sheets packed with expressive features and other amusing accessories. Make the moon (and a dumpling and a baseball) happy, or sad, or mad. And don't stop there — doodle and add speech bubbles to complete each character. It's the ultimate face book.

Humans are hard-wired to understand faces. We see them everywhere we go: in clouds, on the side of a building, in the moon. Studies have shown that children at only 24 hours old, with their eyes barely open, are capable of telling a happy face from a sad one. And there are so many shapes and expressions a face can have!

At Misc Store we also carry Kokuyo's Make Faces Monsters Edition.

Kokuyo x Misc Store Amsterdam

Founded in 1905, Kokuyo quickly became the industry leader in paper products — from account books to letter paper, forms and notebooks.

In 1960, Kokuyo ventured into a transition “from paper to metal”, producing their first filing cabinet. With the economy of that day and age — increasing complexity of administration x economic growth — there was a growing demand for know-how and office supplies to manage the ever-mounting pile of paperwork effectively.

Over the years, Kokuyo has developed various products that enrich lives. That feeling when you open up a fresh new notebook and see the blank page. That feeling when you put pen to paper and let the ideas flow. Whether through stationery, furniture, or spatial design, Kokuyo strives to unleash people's inner creativity. Creation is an expression of uniqueness. Bringing out people’s individuality contributes towards a better future.

At Misc Store Amsterdam, both in our shop as well as online, we proudly carry some of Kokuyo's earlier steel desk items. The designs have not changed since their product launch. We also carry their famed Campus notebooks and a selection of the contest to market entries from their Kokuyo Design Awards, such as the Beetle Tip Marker and the Kadokeshi Eraser.

Following EU regulations, from July 1st 2021 online shops must charge customers the VAT % from their home country.
