When Should You Give Someone A Morning Glory Flower?
The morning glory can be symbolic of strength, giving a person the power to realise their hopes and dreams. The blue morning glory symbolises deep emotions, infinitive love, trust, respect, and honesty.
During the Victorian Era, the flowers represented love and death. Morning glory vines have been pictured growing on headstones, a symbol of mourning, short life and in some cases, even resurrection.
It’s believed that the ability to grow through adversity resonates through the flower. This makes the perfect gift for someone who is taking on a major milestone in their life and is in need of encouragement and support.
Morning glories bloom from early summer to the first frost of fall.
Midori Seasonal Stationery
The seasons play an important part in Japanese culture from eating foods in season to you guessed it, seasonal stationery. Paper designs with seasonal symbolism have been a long-standing part of gift-giving and letter writing traditions. The Midori 'Paper Series' celebrates these traditions with limited-edition designs for each season. Each collection is inspired by nature depicting symbolic highlights for each season; cherry blossoms for spring, wisteria for summer, maple leaves in autumn and Camelias in winter. Everything has its time, even the stationery you use.

About Midori

Since its establishment in 1950, Midori manufactures paper goods that combine both aesthetics and functionality. They do this by paying special attention to beauty and the materials used.
Ever since then, they've continued to develop a range of design-focused products that enrich and add color to people’s daily lives — maintaining its base in design and paper, while evolving into a comprehensive manufacturer of stationery items. Their paper products that allow people to express themselves freely, are now accompanied by stationery tools to enjoy using with Midori's paper.
But perhaps Midori is best known for their classic, leather covered TRAVELER'S notebook. This notebook has a customisable interior, and you can choose from the broad selection of inserts to configure your ultimate personal notebook.
However, since 2015, TRAVELER'S notebook together with the BRASS and SPIRAL RING collections is brought together in a new brand: TRAVELER'S COMPANY.
