Wallpaper* City Guide Amsterdam is a guide focussing on architecture, design and overall high quality. Within its delicious Pantone fluorescent-orange coloured cover, this pocket-sized travel bible reveals the best of what Amsterdam has to offer. We are proud to mention that Miscellaneous Amsterdam is also featured in this latest edition.
Wallpaper* City Guide Amsterdam presents a tightly edited listing of the best Amsterdam has to offer for the design-conscious traveller. Instead of trying to cover all there is to know about the city, Wallpaper selected the best few in their category - from retail to nightlife, from art galleries to hotels.
The Guide starts with a short write-up on the six neighbourhoods of the Amsterdam that are highlighted by Wallpaper: DE PIJP, WESTERPARK, CENTRUM, JORDAAN, HAVENS OOST en OUD ZUID. Followed by the chapters: LANDMARKS, HOTELS, 24 HOURS, URBAN LIFE, ART/DESIGN, ARCHITECTURE, SHOPS and ESCAPES.

The government is taming the beasts – sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll – that made this place so infamous and rebranding the capital, and the coffeehouses and neon windows are being replaced by high-end restaurants and boutiques."
