"Kizuki no Ki" are building blocks that allows you to visually "feel" the amount of things such as size and weight.

"Kizuki no Ki" are building blocks that allows you to visually "feel" the amount of things such as size and weight.

In color science, it is said that brighter colors are lighter and darker colors are heavier. In addition, building blocks are toys that allow you to experience the amount of things such as size and weight by holding and stacking them. "Kizuki no Ki" is a product that applies this idea of color science to building blocks.

Lighter (smaller) ones are brighter, heavier (larger) ones are darker, and the body color is painted in gradation, and the size and weight. You can also visually feel the difference. The gradation of similar colors is also beautiful, and you can decorate the stacked items as they are as an interior.

There are two types of lineup, the quadrangular blue-green "PIXEL" and the triangular orange "HOUSE", and the same base scale is used for both so that they can be played in combination. So, the larger the size, the heavier the weight.

These are not your average building blocks.

"HOUSE" was developed to further expand the range of play of "PIXEL". "HOUSE" is set to a higher target age than "PIXEL" so that children who have played with "PIXEL" can use it as a complementary step as the next step. It is designed to deepen your understanding of the shape.
Most of the pieces are made up of triangular prisms, and like "PIXEL", they are colored so that they become darker according to the volume that increases. It is designed so that you can intuitively understand that there are various triangular prisms with the same volume.
Also, as you can see from the product name, the triangular shape makes it easy to recall the roof and townscape of the house, so you can more fully reproduce the house and townscape in the "play with the appearance" with "PIXEL" added.
The number of pieces (21 types → 56 types) has been greatly increased. However, by doing so, the coloring and types of pieces are made as simple as possible, as in "PIXEL", so that the play is not complicated.

The houses, castles, and townscapes that combine "PIXEL" and "HOUES" have a beautiful color scheme and also function as interiors. We hope that not only children but also adults can enjoy "playing like a child" together and help "parent-child communication".

Misc Store supports
climate change solutions &
plants a tree for every order

Importing from countries as far as Japan & shipping worldwide has more of an impact than we would like. That is why we plant a tree for every order + we plant an additional 2 trees each day.

Furthermore, we offset the individual carbon footprint of our staff, including travel per individual under 8,000 km by car or 2 short-haul return flights annually, by funding climate change solutions through Ecologi.
A selection of these climate projects are shown here.
