Kokuyo's GLOO Instant Glue Gel is an instant glue with a twist, taking glueing to the next level. When applied, it appears red to help you see where you've already placed the glue. In response to light the glue will become transparent, which also indicates it has dried.

This glue features a gel formula. For crafting endeavours that require a runnier consistency, we recommend the GLOO Instant Glue Liquid.

When you use the GLOO Instant Glue Gel, you will find that appliation is smooth and controlled. Its square shape prevents it from rolling off your desk and the cap is leak proof, so you can safely carry it around.

Kokuyo GLOO

At Misc Store we were beyond excited when we saw GLOO for the first time. Designed by Japanese design office Nendo, in collaboration with the iconic Japanese homeware emporium Kokuyo, GLOO is well thought through and highly advanced. It is truly something new.

The GLOO philosophy is that glueing something tends to just be a mundane task of everyday life. Something that is taken for granted or even dreaded. At Kokuyo, they want to look at pasting as "the act of attaching something and creating something new". GLOO re-examined pasting and wanted to make it richer by changing the obvious.

Kokuyo x Misc Store Amsterdam

Founded in 1905, Kokuyo quickly became the industry leader in paper products — from account books to letter paper, forms and notebooks.

Over the years, Kokuyo has developed various products that enrich lives. That feeling when you open up a fresh new notebook and see the blank page. That feeling when you put pen to paper and let the ideas flow. Whether through stationery, furniture, or spatial design, Kokuyo strives to unleash people's inner creativity. Creation is an expression of uniqueness. Bringing out people’s individuality contributes towards a better future.

At Misc Store Amsterdam, both in our shop as well as online, we proudly carry some of Kokuyo's earlier steel desk items. The designs have not changed since their product launch. We also carry their famed Campus notebooks and a selection of the contest to market entries from their Kokuyo Design Awards, such as the Beetle Tip Marker and the Kadokeshi Eraser.

About Kokuyo

Founded in 1905, Kokuyo quickly became the industry leader in paper products — from account books to letter paper, forms and notebooks.

In 1960, Kokuyo ventured into a transition “from paper to metal”, producing their first filing cabinet. With the economy of that day and age — increasing complexity of administration x economic growth — there was a growing demand for know-how and office supplies to manage the ever-mounting pile of paperwork effectively.
