Penco at Misc-store Amsterdam
Penco is inspired by a prototypical American hardware store, and as such they are introducing stationery items with an Americana retro feel. Designed in Japan, their range spans from notebooks, diaries to hardware tape dispensers and pens. You can try out the Prime Timber mechanical pencils and other Penco writing tools in person at the pen table in our Misc-store in Amsterdam.
Penco is a Japanese stationery brand founded on a single ballpoint pen. As the Americana inspired name suggests it is a company making pens. That is, it started with a single ballpoint pen. But they have ventured into much more than just pens. By now their nostalgic analog inspired collections encompass all kinds of stationery. Ranging from clips to clipboards, notebooks to console boxes and pencases to, well… pens.
Penco is part of the Hightide brand family. Hightide brands are known for their attention to detail, materials and great design. This can be seen throughout the entire Hightide range of casual everyday stationery.
We’re delighted to carry Penco and present it to our customers in the Netherlands and internationally via our shop online. To see Penco in person, please visit our store in Amsterdam.
Nice to see you here, but we'd love to meetin person too

Misc Store supports
climate change solutions &
plants a tree for every order
Importing from countries as far as Japan & shipping worldwide has more of an impact than we would like. That is why we plant a tree for every order + we plant an additional 2 trees each day.
Furthermore, we offset the individual carbon footprint of our staff, including travel per individual under 8,000 km by car or 2 short-haul return flights annually, by funding climate change solutions through Ecologi.
A selection of these climate projects are shown here.
